There are so many reasons I need to be an organizer person. One, I tend to procrastinate on some things so I need a very clear reminder about what needs to be done. Two, I have 4 kids that I need to keep track of appointments and schedules for. Three, I am a blogger which means many posts that are time sensitive. And, four, because I am a woman and my life is busy all the time. Today, I want to share a few calendar options with you… both are wire-bound and small enough to place in your handbag.
The first option is the FranklinCovey Botanica Wire-bound Weekly Planner. This weekly version calendar is in one word… pretty. I am very serious about that. The designs are very pretty. But, besides the elegant look, it serves a great purpose. You will find a monthly calendar, weekly calendars, addresses/phone numbers, and a monthly index to mark those important things to do. Each page has a pretty botanical theme that is not overpowering. I like that there is enough space to write in for each day, that the pages are nice and thick, and that there is a note section at the end of each week. The Saturday and Sunday take up the same amount of space as the rest of the week which is great for me or anyone else that tries to jam pack their weekends full of events. Included is a page finder that is easily transferable from week to week. You can purchase this fabulous planner for only $24.95 from The Organized Parent.
Next up is the Simplicity for Moms Wire-bound Weekly Planner. This planner takes a planner to the next level with a mom in mind. In addition to the monthly calendars, index of events for each month, and weekly calendars, you have many more areas in this planner. First though, let me tell you about the weekly space. Each day has a space for mom and kids and a “things to do” area on the bottom of every page. There are inspiring quotes about mothers or being a mother to view each week that I enjoy. In the back of this planner is a ton of useful areas that make this planner the go-to one for moms on the go. You will find an area to enter key information about your child, child health information, record of immunizations, and school information for up to 5 children. You will also find an activity/lesson planner, a space to keep information about activity groups, an allowance tracker, some blank pages for notes or whatever you feel the urge to write, and an address book. It, too, has a page finder that is easy to use. Being that this planner is small enough to throw in your handbag or diaper bag, you can have all your most-needed information close at-hand all the time! You can purchase this planner for $24.99 as well.
